Adventure under the ocean scuba diving,  from experienced divers to complete novices. There are two world-class diving sites along the South coast the Aliwal Shoal and the Protea Banks. The Aliwal Shoal is just off Umkomaas and has a selection of different dive operators. The Aliwal Shoal also boasts two wrecks the Nebo and the Produce which lie near to the Shoal. The Protea Banks is situated near Shelly Beach and is known as one of the best shark dives worldwide. The Protea Banks is a more technical dive. Golf Courses: There are nine top class 18-hole golf courses on the South Coast, some of which have been rated some of the best in South Africa. Umkomaas Golf Club, Scottburgh Golf Club, Selborne Country Club, Umdoni Park Golf Club, Port Shepston Country Club, Margate Country Club, Southbroom Golf Club, San Lameer Country Club, Wild Coast Sun Country Club, all these golf courses have spectacular views. The South Coast golf courses have some of the most spectacular fauna and flora, making them a pleasure for any golfer. Oribi Gorge: Adrenaline junkies looking for a thrill will always find something at Oribi Gorge whether on the highest gorge swing in the world or abseiling next to the beautiful waterfall. There is also a terrific foofy slide across the gorge. From extreme hikes and mountain bike trails to white water rafting through the gorge there is something for all. Lake Eland Game Reserve: A scenic 35 minute drive  from Port Shepston the Lake Eland Game Reserve ranges from herds of zebra and wildebeest to the small shy mountain reedbuck and bushbuck. There are also horse trails, hiking trails, mountain biking, and fresh water fishing available to visitors. Wild Coast Waterworld: Waterworld has it all speed boats rides, water skiing, aqua scooters, motorboats, tube ride, wake-snake, jet ski's, and riverboat cruises a perfect place for a sundowner. Pure Venom S.A: This Reptile Farm has one of the largest collections on display in the country. From many different exotic and indigenous snakes, to green iguanas, monitors and crocodiles. Kart Freaks Margate: The biggest go kart and dirt track on the South Coast. Kart Freaks offers go-karts, dirt karts, bull rides, and bumper boats. Beaver Creek: This coffee estate and roastery is a must. There are tours and tasting available although booking is essential in season.
